Validation of the Entrepreneurs’ Financing Decision model: the case of Venture Capital
The aim of this study is to conceptualize entrepreneurs' financing decisions model. This modelis developed based on the theory of planned behavior and self-determination. We then tested iton a sample of 182 entrepreneurs and were able to confirm the unidimensionality of ourconcepts, as well as the reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient like the Composite Reliability)and the convergent and discriminant validity of their measurement scales. In addition, thismodel was found to be remarkably well-fitted to the data, indicating its suitability for more in-depth analysis.
