These days, influencers have become an integral part of modern life. These people who share content on social networks are followed by a very large community. Tourism professionals have every interest in seizing this opportunity to influence Internet users and, thanks to inbound marketing, turn a simple visitor into a loyal customer or, better still, convert them into an ambassador. The key trend in the days of Marketing 2.0, when we are now talking about Marketing 5.0 (Philippe Kotler, in Marketing 5.0 Technology for Humanity), was influencer marketing, which has become a mode of communication. The context of our research is twofold: on the one hand, we have a particular economic situation following the COVID-19 pandemic that affected the whole world, and on the other, the rising statistics on the use of social networks may prove interesting for a marketer. Influencers who share their experiences of travel and escape are among the most followed and influential digital influencers. Faced with the affluence of this community of internet users, over 46% of whom use Facebook, tourism professionals need to think about innovative processes and effective communication methods capable of reaching demanding consumers who are not very receptive to intrusive advertising, hence the need for tourism businesses to rethink their customer relationship management (CRM) model. The research aimed to find out more about the behaviour of consumers of tourism products in Morocco when faced with the messages and content proposed by influencers/bloggers, so that the tourism industry can benefit from them. This study aims to explain to the reader what a travel influencer is and how he or she impacts players in the tourism product market. Our main question is: Do travel and lifestyle influencers active on social networks (Instagram/Facebook) have an impact on the purchasing behaviour of consumers of travel products in Morocco? In this article, we conducted two studies: a qualitative study based on an interview guide that targeted influencers, travel agencies and communication and media managers at the ONMT (Moroccan National Tourism Office). The choice of our target responds to a need to ensure triangulation of the opinions of the various players: travel agencies, influencers (the subject of the study) and the ONMT representing the public authorities. We also carried out a quantitative study by administering a questionnaire to the general public in order to assess whether Moroccan internet users who are consumers of the travel product would be influenced in their purchasing decision by the content proposed by digital opinion leaders and influencers on social networks. We collected 113 responses to our survey questionnaire. Using principal component analysis (PCA), an exploratory technique, the results of the research suggest that the survey carried out showed the interest shown in travel influencers and their impact on certain aspects of the act of buying a travel product. Based on this observation, professionals in the tourism sector can seize this opportunity and plan or strengthen their collaboration with this new means of communication and influence to boost the sector's activity and improve its attractiveness. This article begins with the interest of this study, followed by a review of the literature, the research methodology is then presented. The research results, suggestions and conclusion are reported in the final part of the article.
