Based on the service-dominant logic, also known as S-D logic (Vargo and Lusch, 2008a), consumer participation, which includes consumer-consumer interactions (CCI) and consumer-brand interactions (CBI), as well as the value of the experience (VALEX), leads to the extent of consumer engagement with the brand (CBE). The current academic literature on the subject views consumer brand engagement (CBE) as a single variable, but it fails to explain the inherent variations in the abundance of online behaviors. This poses a significant challenge for marketing professionals in devising well-defined strategies. Therefore, questions arise regarding the influences of CCI, CBI, and VALEX interactions on the CBE of Customer Value Management (CVM) in social media. The three-dimensional cognitive, emotional, and behavioral approach to Consumer Brand Engagement (CBE) introduced by Hollebeek et al (2014) offers solutions to these questions. The following research will be conducted by analyzing an active brand community on Facebook of approximately 350 members. A self-administered survey will be used for the study, and the data will be analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The expected results aim to provide a theoretical framework that helps researchers understand the factors contributing to consumer engagement with the brand. This framework will shed light on the cognitive, affective and behavioral variations experienced by online consumers.
