24. ANALYTICAL APPROACH TO GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT OF SPORTS ORGANIZATIONS: THE CASE OF THE ROYAL MOROCCAN FEDERATION OF SCHOOL SPORTS (FRMSS)

The study will examine the governance and management mechanisms in the Royal Moroccan Federation of School Sports (FRMSS). The objective of the research is to encourage reflection on the organization, functioning, management systems, and promotion of school sports activities. The topic was chosen due to the multi-level nature of school sports activities that involve education, physical development, cultural development, and socialization aspects. Moreover, school sports are extremely important for building up civil sports and their increasing influence on both national and international levels. Data collection will be carried out using official sources related to governing bodies in charge of school sports activities and will be supplemented with a systematic literature review. Furthermore, interviews with key stakeholders and partners in the school sports sector will be conducted. The first section of the study will discuss the theoretical background of school sports activities, including their objectives, missions, and values. It will be followed by a discussion of governance models and management styles used in school sports organizations. The second part of the study will present the empirical.
